Utensils to fit in a BROG Cooking kit bag?

The bag is designed to hold 3, but only sold with 2 of the 4x8 pouches.

    Trailer coating/paint

Keep in mind if bedliner isn't applied correctly and doesn't bond properly it can create a void between the liner and metal that will wick in moisture. Seen a few truck beds rust out from the inside out. Bedliner side looked fine, but behind it was no metal. Kinda why I'm iffy on...

    M101A1 Axle

Seriously? I'm running a 3500# axle with no issues on the stock springs. I'm glad you scored the upgrade for free, but even a 5000# axle is overkill for an M101.

    Thinking Refrigerator..

Chest fridges are more efficient since they won't dump all their cold air out when you open them the way an upright fridge will.

Building a M116A1 Military Trailer into an Overlanding trailer

I see your trailer has the same red/yellow reflectors on the back as mine does.

    31s or 33s

On road, sure, but not off-road.

    31s or 33s

My primary Jeep (the LJ) has been in the shop for the last 15 months. So I switched the trailer to spring-under when I started towing it behind the Grand. When the LJ comes out of the shop I'll switch it back to spring-over. So it's not like I switch it back and forth on a daily basis. I...

    31s or 33s

Ideally you want to run whatever is on your tow-rig. So for me, I run 33's (& spring over) when I'm pulling it behind my LJ, but I can drop down to 30's (& spring under) when behind the Grand Cherokee.

What to look for when buying? Willys M-100 Trailer

Unlike the US M416's which has the tub bolted to the frame, it's my understanding the Canadian M100's were welded together. So you need to check the length of that weld both on the outer lip as well as the inner lip of the frame rails for rust/rot. Key areas will be rear corners where the...

    M101A2 "Poor Man's Teardrop" - A five year retrospective

Yeah, the kicker is even if it was running today I'd have no where to go. LoL So I'm kinda lucking out with current events and what-not.

    M101A1 Axle

The one feature I really wish my current trailer had that it does not, is parking brakes. The M101 isn't small and it can build up some momentum on it's own. I remember I was trying to level it at the MOAF in PA one summer and just when I thought I had it perfect the trailer pivoted one wheel...

    M101A1 Axle

Sounds about what mine spec'd out as. I made sure to upgrade to the manual parking brakes. I hope you did too.

    Trailer Wheel Advice

The previous owner ordered a custom axle from Dexter that was 3500# (appropriate for the trailer) and spec'd it out to be the same width as a Jeep axle (60.5" WMS/WMS) along with 10" drum brakes and Jeep bolt pattern (5x4.5" for the older style Jeeps). Big advantage here was no spacers (I hate...

    M101A2 "Poor Man's Teardrop" - A five year retrospective

It was slated to be done last month. I actually heard it fire up, but as soon as it got to temperature it started knocking. They are looking for a new engine/trans donor now. Hopefully within the next week or two it should be finished.
