hey SWR, mine went out too. Truck would not fire at all. I believe it was a code 14. My dad and i tried to use one from an MR2 and it turned out to be the incorrect one. You have to go with one from a 1988 3.0 ONLY. i dont even think you can use the one from 1989

Hey man its a Yakima LoadWarrior with a single extension and a single cross bar going through the middle of it. It is attatched through the roof, we drilled holes in the roof and ran the bolts for the stock mounts down through it and put silicon on the outside to seal it off.

well after looking at the pics in the ad, i can tell you that that is a DLX not an SR5. It is obvious from the speedometer. Not as many goodies. the 1984-1985 4Runners were solid axle and the '85 being the best because it came with fuel injection as well as the solid axle. Read...
