I know it isn't the same but compared to our Wrangler, the 4Runner is much better. That being said, with AT tires, it isn't crazy quieter. I imagine Lexus has that part figured out.

I love this idea. There's a similar women-only event, called the Rebel Rally that takes place here in west. It'd be fun to do this. There's plenty of rally events for car enthusiasts but not many for the off-road crowd.

Yeah I didn't realize my terminals were loose but I had a similar situation a while back and reset them and sure enough.... issue went away. Super weird.

Sounds like a great start to getting the family involved! Roof-top tents are great and will probably be super exciting for kids but I would recommend oversizing for comfort and space. That or RTT for kids and ground tent or trailer for adults.
