How is highway driving with a 2024 4runner TRD Off-Road

I know it isn't the same but compared to our Wrangler, the 4Runner is much better. That being said, with AT tires, it isn't crazy quieter. I imagine Lexus has that part figured out.

ARB Prado 120 bull bar on GX470... Kinda fits...

Great write-up. It looks great! I love the snug lines and high-up position. ARB really does make the best stuff and I think their bumpers just look classic and timeless... which is probably why i went with one too. lol It sucks they didn't have one turn-key for your application. I'm not sure how...

1994 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear Exceed 4x4

What a cool looking van! I've been trying to convince my wife that we "need" one of these things for a couple of years now. Good luck with the sale!

Take The Truck's First Gen Tacoma Build

Love the way your build has continued. What mileage change did you see with the gears?

Anyone go from LC to Wrangler?

The Willys will treat you right, especially with the Pentastar. I've had my JKUR since new in 2016 and it's been pretty good. I've only had a few issues in the time I've owned it. 1. The engine developed a tick (Rocker Tick) around 90k miles (in 2022) and I had to have the heads replaced with...

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I love this idea. There's a similar women-only event, called the Rebel Rally that takes place here in west. It'd be fun to do this. There's plenty of rally events for car enthusiasts but not many for the off-road crowd.

Time to buy a Gladiator? $20k off MSRP’s!

I would probably jump on this opportunity if my JK wasn't paid off. That being said, I use the back of my JK all the time and would have to have a bed cap on a Gladiator to get the same capability. I DO think Jeep will discontinue it soon though and that these will become hot-ticket items on...

    SEMA Show 2023

Great pictures! I used to only know Sema as the place for tuner cars.... now I can see it is that and so much more. One day I'll have to make it there. Are there token times for journalists and vloggers to make the rounds without attendees or is it just a come as you are whenever?

    Bear, our 2016 JKUR

I replaced the OEM fenders with some new ones and installed a 'new-to-me' AEV rear bumper! This thing is leagues better than the stock plastic OEM one and matches the OEM fenders perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I had gone back and forth on what to do on the rear end for years, leaning...

    Any JK ABS failures?

Yeah I didn't realize my terminals were loose but I had a similar situation a while back and reset them and sure enough.... issue went away. Super weird.

Fourth Time is a Charm: 22JTR

Sounds like a great start to getting the family involved! Roof-top tents are great and will probably be super exciting for kids but I would recommend oversizing for comfort and space. That or RTT for kids and ground tent or trailer for adults.

    Dolores: Our 2003 Tundra Build

Nice pictures and updates! I've learned there are many projects I like to tackle... and many I'd rather just have pros do. With a fast charging outlet, any issues with melting wires?

Drive to Arctic Circle in “high miles” 4th Gen 4Runner

This matches up with a lot of what I've heard. Sounds like the complexities are overhyped and that it's quite doable in whatever with some smart planning. Thanks for all the updates and recap. Looks like its been one great trip!

    budget performance cars

I had a 2003 SVT Focus and boy was that a fun car. Needed a little more power but it sure made backroads so much fun. A car I thought was an upgrade but was not was my old 2006 Supercharged Cobalt SS/SC. Although quick, that car sounded terrible and was way less quality than the SVT.
