Thanks for that. That's good info. And yes, if I was doing any serious off roading, I would get a wrangler. But I want good cargo space, decent fuel economy and the ability to tow. This seems like it'll work great for it
Anyone here rocking a newer Grand Cherokee? I love the looks of the 75th anniversary model and am considering upgrading to that. I'll be doing on road driving 90% of the time, and just doing some minor off roading to camps and such.
There's a set of OEM vents currently on a ZJ group on facebook for $120. Looks like it still has the drip trays:

I am intending to do some things like upgraded radiator, M1 intake (if I can find one) and some others. I'll end up buying parts and have them sit in a garage and get ready for the swap.
I just bought a house on a lake. If you ever want to camp in IL, just say the word.
Also, did you have to prime your fuel pump after you put it in? If so, how did you do that?
Cool. I'll just take off the filter and let gas run out. Thanks. As far as letting my tank run til it dies, it's my sending unit that's bad. i actually don't know how much gas is in at any given time. I keep filling up every ~150 miles to make sure I don't run out. But I'll figure it out...
Yeah. Already did that. How did you empty the gas tank? i don't have a siphoning machine. Also, it seems that all I need to do to remove pressure from the system is Unhook the battery and take off the gas cap. True? Or am I missing a step?
