Very cool rig! May I ask who did the 4X4 conversion and suspension? How does it handle graded roads with mild chop? What is performance like on road with the 6"lift?

Imagine my surprise as I was browsing all of the great expedition vehicles for sale this am and came across mine! I still have it and have been enjoying it--mileage has increased.....Next trip--King of the Hammers and Death Valley in February. I would sell it if I received a reasonable offer...
The slide outs are manual. Labor is cheap in the Army. :) Two adults can easily operate the manual slide outs. They're very simple and robust which was likely the design requirement given it's original use.
I've not had any problems with leaks (sides open or closed) and have had it out in some very heavy rainstorms, particularly last season. During that time I did discover that the windshield rubber needed to be replaced and I did that.
