The top and bottom angled portions for the middle plate, I struggled with getting good welds and grinding it smooth. So I used some JB weld to make it smoother. Mocked up with the grab handle and mirror.

This is what the height looks like with a human in the seat. It's pretty close to perfect, maybe a couple inches higher would be the sweet spot. I also started cutting and test fitting some if the top plates. Didn't get much further than that as I need to pick up some smaller diameter welding wire.

Did some more work on my half door. Worked on getting the inner and outer panels level, and test fitted it. Up next will be to cut the top piece and weld it on.
