    Chains to fit LT345/75R16?

I tried to find chains like your second picture a while ago for a 35" tire, actually four of them, but 33" was the largest size I could find. I basically gave up after a while, but if you're really serious, an ag chain is probably the only way to find that style chain. I spoke with someone at...

    New Diesel Swap

I swapped a 4BTAA into my Scrambler and can say that the cost was very high. The diesel conversion is well worth it for me, but given the cost they're not for entirely practical.

Ancient Warn 8274 - What can I expect to fix?

Redding four wheel drive which is WARN's parts wing (I think) is the best place for buying anything. Jack (again, I think) is the best guy to ask for. I've re-sealed my drum and replaced the entire solenoid pack on mine and Redding was a great resource. If you have the money, buy the 4.6 horse...

Air Compressor Woes... Viair blowing hoses

I also have the same setup mated to run with two ARB's (through a set of pressure regulators), but I haven't had any problems. I know all the fitting are the plastic push in "new style" that are all the rage these days. If you're blowing your hose out of the fitting Vs. blowing a hole in the...

How would you outfit this custom LJ?

Jeff, Nice to see your project on this forum. The Maggiolinas have always looked like the quickest to deploy, but both the Hannibals and the Ez-Awns are popular in http://vtxs.org/, the club in which I'm a member. Determine what your most important feature is (length, ease of setting up...

    Netbook vs. iPad...

Guys, Please post any updates to iPad GPS software that you come across. I'm hoping to go this route for my GPS system, but right now software from Garmin and Delorme doesn't seem to be compatible. That's kind of a deal breaker as everyone I wheel with uses and shares these two systems.

Best A/T Tire for My '08 Taco?

Hey, I just logged back on and realized I started a thread and then abandoned it! Sorry! I ended up putting 285/75/R16 Yoko Geolander AT's on. They're a nice tire for all terrain. I'll post a pic or two if I can. I also added a ready lift 2" spacer to the front and 1" to the rear. The tires...
