    Need an auto transmission expert....E4OD

The rear ABS sensor is also used as the output shaft speed sensor for the trans. With it acting up, the PCM(ecu) had no way of knowing if the trans was working properly, or even what gear it was actually in. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

When I am trying to figure out what gear I need, this is the formula I use. (New Tire Height/Old Tire Height) × (Old Gear Ratio). Example 37/31 × 3.73= 4.46 The closest thing is 4.56:1 gear. Or in this case a 4.30:1 gear might be okay.

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

Just my two cents. I have found that boost in a diesel is usually a good indicator of overall performance of the engine. I have found that low fuel pressure can cause a boost concern. I would check fuel pressure, if you don't find any leaks. Generally low fuel pressure will not cause a code or...

    OBS F250 slow adventure build

He might have been asking about insulation between the truck bed and your frame you built. I built a similar frame for my Ranger and plan to build one for my F250. I used camper shell foam rubber between the bed and the frame to keep the two from rubbing paint off.

The truck is lifted 4 inches, and has 35x12.5x18 tires on it. The wheels are 18x10. It would be nice to get rid of the unit bearings as well as put some larger brakes on the truck. It does have the Dana 60 front diff instead of the 50.

I currently have a 2002 F250. I know you guys are using the front axle for these conversions. Would the brake kit work as an upgrade for my truck.

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

If you are going to have more than just the stock electrical load (vehicle lights, radio, hvac) it wouldn't be a bad idea. I think alot of people are putting heavier wiring in due to the common isue with the eyelet at the alternator melting. That problem is usually caused by the nut loosing up...

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

On the alternator, the ambo package vehicles run dual alternators. The only difference between a setup like yours and an ambulance is the additional brackets, pulleys, and wires. I would thank it would be fairly easy to add it on, sourcing parts as a kit or from a salvage yard. As far as...
