I rewired my truck last year and came away with a few things. First, insulated connectors kinda suck. Go with non insulated butt connectors of good quality. Some have a split in them and you have to avoid crimping on it or it will be compromised. Second, use good 3M marine shrink wrap with...
Naw man, took my 13 yo daughter out a bunch with high hopes of getting her first deer. Missed a few opportunities but such is life. Had some great times though and spent about ten nights in the back of the camper talking and playing cards. She's hooked so it was very worth while.
I see all my...
Cool truck man.
I think I'd rather bust windshields, camper shells and core supports than take on a potential engineering nightmare like a pivot frame. You could always box the frame to add stiffness but I'd just keep running it as is and beef up the stuff that breaks until she holds together...
Yeah, I like the clearance, but hate the height.
Not much luck this year for me. My good buddy shot one we packed in for. Made a few memories.

Had a wheel bearing get loose over on the coast on our wedding anniversary camp out. Pulled the wood post out of the ground and drove up...
Just saw this and thanks.
My favorites are...
Pappawheely. Winner.
Rube Bonnet. Well, I suck at fab and apparently I'm not very creative either.
Coastal616. I want that stance on my truck. Detroit... are you kidding me? Win.
Larry. Love what he's done with that truck.
Forget the guys...
Thanks Bojak.
Not much to report. Went through the front suspension and redid the shackles. That helped a bunch with how it handles. Rerouted the exhaust and hung it properly. The exhaust shop I used hard mounted the 53" muffler so when it flexed it broke in a spot. Also redid the trans cross...
