Greetings. I'm putting up my 1995 D1 for sale as I no longer have a place for it and it needs a new loving home.
I bought her a couple years ago to go exploring in, but alas, life has caught up and I don't go out much anymore. It has 178k on the clock and is a solid runner. It's a trail truck...
Never take the first offer, especially considering it's THEIR insurance. Find trucks comparable to yours to find a proper value.
Surprised so many on here are willing to just take the first offer. Usually when it's their fault the insurance can't total the vehicle out.
If you play your cards...
I'm on Land Rover number 1. I have to say, like my E30 it has loads of personality if not more. The way it has its quirks makes it seem as if it's possessed. I was originally in the market for a Land Cruiser, and due to prices a Rover better fit my budget. One day I'll have my Cruiser, or five...
Modern cars are so ugly. We are in the "let's slap random shapes and angles for styling" era. Nobody uses flowing style or art anymore to make cars. Car shapes are dictated by aerodynamics and MPG mixed with some botox to win consumers over.
It's like Michael Bay is directing the auto industry.
Power of an M50 with the fuel economy of an M60. A M60b40 would be a cool swap though.
I know a bloke with an M52 swapped RRC. I hear that South African spec Defenders came with them for a short time.
