It was low 5s when I signed a couple of hours ago, so 6k more in a couple of hours is nice to see. Spread the word, this isn't just about Land Rovers.

Not official trophy stuff no. Just the case.

Nice score on the case. I have one of the ones issued to Bill Burke for the 91 trophy. Won it in a club raffle. He signed it and presented it himself.

Not a disco or a tablet but here is the set up in my 90. Garmin Nuvi 5000 overhead (mostly road use), Panasonic Toughbook on a laptop mount over the center console, set up with GPS capable topos (Overland Navigator, ExpertGPS, etc.), APRS and so on. Radios (CB and VHF/UHF) on an overhead console.

Had an evoque with me out on the trail today. ETC wasn't working and I had to strap it out of a water crossing and then again up a simple hill climb. Without ETC that thing is just a fat assed saloon car and shouldn't be on the trail. He had no dash lights on and no way to know his ETC was...

Nope. I have a set of Corbeu GTS II's. The side bolsters can catch the unwary if they try to slide out of the seat like you would in a normal Defender seat. Lets just say they are perfectly positioned to leave you talking in a very high voice for a while and bring tears to your eyes... :)

Locker. Yes my seats can catch the unwary... Funnily enough, people only ever do it once... :)

I think the problem is mostly reserved for trucks with manual transmissions from what I have heard. I've had one in for 3 yrs and have had no problems with it, but its in an auto. You've been in and around my 97 Justin, have you ever noticed it?

How would the brakes and other safety items be any different between a genuine 25yr old model and whatever this one actually is? Its not a Puma so it could maybe be anything from a 200TDi to a TD5. The screen grabs suggest it has a 200TDi fitted so its possible it might be anywhere from 20 to...

That's my position as well, the comment was about Expo travel where people are trying NOT to get stuck typically and only need the winch for emergencies. Some of which may well include a dead engine or inability to run the engine such as a roll over. Not a winch challenge type event or mud...

I would tend to disagree with that Tom. Neither offer less complexity or greater reliability than a simple electric and neither are usable in the event of a tip over when you are alone and need to right the vehicle yourself. An electric will still run without the engine and allow you to self...
