I had gotten the key from the Rover dealer. They then wanted to charge me a second labor to program the key, but your tool can take care of that. But you still gotta get a spare key from them or someone who can get it for you.

yep. actually got my bluetooth gap tool from them. great service and fast shipping. i picked one up as soon as I got my LR3. seems like with that and a good set of tools you can do just about anything

Ive read about the update and looking forward to the GAP being able to do that. But in the Gap manual it also talks about resetting the learn feature on the transmission. Either for when it had a major rebuild or a transmission flush. Is that what you wanted to do?
