Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

If you were closer, you could do like Tom did - spend some time here learning a bit about fiberglass and then make your own barn door in the my molds. Oh well, I guess you'll have to wait and see if some company signs up to make it a production product :). If only I lived in NY...

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

I was even thinking a longer than the jeep is wide awning with a simple bar with two L brackets to fit into two brackets on roof. Just a thought.... Now I just need to get my hands on the barn door...

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

I think it would be neat to attach brackets to secure one end of a tarp, canopy, or awning there. That would be nice to be able to create shade off the back of the jeep and still be able to open or close the tailgate.

    Water storage

Don't Forget if stock rear bumper is still in use you can mod that to hold water too. It holds about 8-9 gallons. I use it to great success. Aev also makes one that will hold water.

Haven't arrived at school yet. I should know some time this week.... My fingers are crossed as the unanticipated bungie jumps from the chair this past week have all of his teachers on edge! I would agree with one of the statements above that it is difficult as a small business and there are...

To fridge or not to fridge?

The Truckfridge I bought has a low battery cutoff as mentioned above where the fridge cuts it self off once the batter reaches a certain voltage level. It was recommended by the manufacturer to leave this set to high to minimize risk of a no start. JK should start if batter has the voltage on...

To fridge or not to fridge?

Just Picked up a 31qt fridge from Truckfridge. It is a rebadged Indel B fridge. I really like it. Shipped quick and gets cold! I use it in the house on AC and keep drinks in it. Fairly light weight (I wouldn't want to carry over long distance but it isn't horrible) and really quiet. I only...

Fridge for JK on a budget

So yours has run plugged into the jeep since you bought it? Thats great. Many people remove them and put them back when planning for a trip. I am thinking of using the 110 to plug into the house and use as a small freezer or fridge to keep ice or to throw some drinks in in the man cave...
