    Jamm, I've got the BDO aluminum sliders on my LJ. Really keeps the Jeep alot cleaner and gives my kids a nice step. Did you add bumpstop? Would the stock control arms be OK? I'm waiting to see the aluminum Savvy TT..

    Questions about a kayak carrier idea for an LJ

    Have you looked at the Garvin racks. The weight of the rear is support by two heavy steel brackets that are bolted to the body mount. I dont think it would interfere with your tire carrier. I hope not.. one of Eddies bumpers is next on my list...
