I have a 2015 ram 2500 diesel. The space and power is amazing and it does ok off road with some decent tires on it. Towing is amazing and I can't imagine towing heavy loads without the exhaust break now. In tow/haul mode with the exhaust break the truck pretty much takes care of braking for you...
I removed mine from my FWC for about a year. I found myself using less water overall and had some extra space but ended up missing it and felt like shuffling around water containers was far more annoying then gaining some cargo space.
I mainly camp on the California coast so I never dealt with...
Great rig! Very nicely done and functional. On that last pic, what is the material on top of the box with the raised circle pattern?

If Ford ever makes a Ranger again (small one, not mid size like the newer tacomas and such) I think I would go back to that. Would be great with the 2.7 ecoboost. I miss the size and the all in one aspect of the small trucks. Oh well :)

Your truck is awesome! I am a little biased as I just bought nearly the same truck, a 2015 white crew cab short bed ctd. Is your truck lifted at all to fit the 35's or do they fit stock?
Few pics of my new to me FWC over the past 6 months or so
Some random photos of my truck/camper from Mendocino National Forest and Usal Beach. Not sure why the forum insists on the last pic being rotated incorrectly :)
I like it alot! Did you do any sort of custom platform/storage/sleeping area setup in the shell besides the bed rug or is it all just piled in there? I just stepped up from a Ranger to a F-150 as well and am pleasantly surprised that even with the 5.4 I'm getting the same gas mileage O.o, I bet...
Yet another EB owner here. I got this one about 10 years ago now... two rolls and semi-rebuilds later here it sits with my co-pilot husky Kaya :) Now its time for a drivetrain overhaul again.... if only I had money :P
