It was a cracked top / oring and something else that fits on top of the gas tank.. No idea how it broke .. Pretty sure it wasn't my fault though . They had to drop the gas tank that's why it was so expensive , the part was only like 150$.

So I just had to replace a cracked cap on top of my gas tank that was leaking fuel. Paid around 500$.. Hope this isn't the start of the beginning of repairs for my 2010:/

Any other cheap models available / how hard is the install on these without anything to mount to

What would be my best option for a roof rack/rail system if my lr4 has neither. Mostly will be using it to carry a kayak . Thanks!

Thanks for the help! Now since I'm looking at buying new or newer do you know of any problems with the 2010 lr4s that would have to be fixed. I havnt found much info like I have the lr3s. There is just to many options ha.
