Completed: DIY Harbor Freight Micro-Trailer w/ Jeep Wheels

Definitely thought about! As is, it's sits nice and level with the Jeep. If I go with a lift in the future, I will probably do the flip. Thanks for checking it out!

A few of our favorite things... Really liking this new padlock from BOLT. It learned my Jeep ignition key in seconds and now I don't have to worry about another key. One key for all! Installed a waterproof, battery powered LED Light Strip behind the upper awning leg mount. Just enough...

I haven't fully completed the telescoping bars for the awning yet, but from the pic below, you can see a temp setup while I was installing LEDS. The awning can go on either side of the trailer, however, I do prefer to have it on the drivers side. The trailer came with the lid, and...

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! Thanks for the tip! Yup, extending the tongue is also on my list. Not only do I have to be very careful backing up, with the current setup I cannot fully open my rear gate, so I'm going to extend 18".

Step 1- help me start planning a DIY trailer for my JKU

For weeks I had this same question and finally came across the solution last night! From what I read, this is what we need, 1.80 thickness. http://adaptitusa.com/5-x-5.00-to-5-x-500-wheel-adapter.aspx

DIY Expo Trailer Builders Q&A Thread

That does seem high. I just ordered a 61" 3500# Dexter Axle from a local shop with 5 on 5" hubs for $215. This includes having to be cut and sleeved, 2 day turnaround.

Wow, quite the before and after! Thanks for sharing. Great idea using the linear actuator. Do you like it? How are you supplying power to it? Up close pics would be appreciated! Again, great work.

JK Tailgate Tables - The lowdown

Thanks! I picked one up at my local Home Depot for 6 bucks. It was white, but I spray painted it black. Here they are online, looks like they come in grey too. http://m.homedepot.com/p/Rite-Lite-LED-Puck-Light-Grey-6-Pack-LPL626BX/100671570/

JK Tailgate Tables - The lowdown

Received my Trailgator and absolutely love it. Install was simple, especially after watching the install video from Rebel Offroad. Also installed a little battery powered, swivel and tilt LED light overhead.
