    Surge Brakes

For me, when offroading and doing "stair steps" surge brakes work well....As I am trying to slowly ride the brakes down/over the steps the "trailer brakes" don't fight me as much as "electric brakes"...

    Surge Brakes

I have used a TO-Extreme "High Country" with disc surge brakes with the solenoid valve, they worked great. Electric are not the best when you are trying to do "Stair Steeps" and ride the brakes down the "steeps"....Don't listen to the "WEB" if they hadn't used them, they shouldn't comment!

    Mounting sand ladders?

Here what I have come up with... My idea is to bolt on the 1.5" sq tubing frame and use straps to hold in place.

    Mounting sand ladders?

Has anyone mounted their sand ladders under the rtt? I was thinking, it is a great place that is protected from the sun and not using space inside the trailer.

    Jerry cans, which to choose?

Nato Style cans are great but be careful, there are Chinese copies that are not the same. I bought a 4 pack of the Chinese version and they were 1/2 the weight of my old 15yr old Wedco and did not seal 100%. I would not buy a can without touch/see-it-1st-hand. The last ones I bought are from...

Will a Disco2 fuel skid plate fit on a Disco1?

I need to replace my "factory" fuel tank support strap. Will a skid plate from a Disco2 work on a Disco1?

Camping with the BoyScouts this weekend.

It was not a Scout owned park but a county park, so rules are different. When at QSR or Camp Kanza, we do have to leave trucks in the parking lot.

Need some Disco owners with opinions...

I have a daily driver with 212,000 miles (never had a head job or even gaskets) and my wife's is 167,000 (with heads done at 120,000). If you like it drive it...

    Disco I/RRC/Defender coolant expansion tank

Have one of each, "see thru" on Wife's and tan on mine. I like the "see thru" better, I can see what the water level is when "hot".
