New FORD Ranger SUPER DUTY (Global Market)

These are built in Thailand, correct? As others have stated. It would be great to see one with a diesel in the states.

Anyone in marketing? Open to a side project?

Hey everyone, So, a little about me: I retired young (don’t hate me), and was asked shortly after to help mentor young adults, and use my unorthodox background as potential motivation? Not sure! Anyways, I’ve been fortunate enough to help a few get their feet off the ground financially over the...

It made it there without any issues. Spent a few days driving around the area, and back home late last night. Hiccup free!

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

Very nice! I sometimes miss my imported 300 TDI disco. I’m right outside of Charlotte. Taking it on a 9+ hour one way trek tomorrow, which will be its longest trip. Changed the oil, transfer case fluid, and greased all u joints/driveshafts. Crossing my fingers!

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

The paint is far from perfect. It’s what I would consider barely acceptable if I were trying to sell the truck. But, I use it to camp and haul dirtbikes around. Having something that’s wildly imperfect, is the best option for myself. Something with perfect paint, wouldn’t remain that way for...

    300 tdi disco build

Cool build! Fellow NC Disco owner here as well. I’ve owned a 300tdi Disco in the past, and used this EGT kit. It ditched the stock clock, and looks clean. Highly recommend...

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

Indeed. The LR4 is a major step forward from even the 3, which is a great vehicle in its own right. While I love the vintage charm of older stuff, the one major setback for me is handling. The LR3 handled really good through mountain curves, while the Disco 1 is borderline freighting if you...

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

Regarding mechanicals. The oil pan gasket was replaced. Every fluid was changed. I redid various electrical and vacuum lines. New TPS, IAC, MAF, CPS. New fuel pump, etc. I didn’t want the rough ride of a lifted Disco, so I decided to keep it factory height. I bought brand new stock coil...

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

The interior ended up getting sound deadening throughout. Every panel was inside was taken out and cleaned. All speakers were replaced. All the door seals were upgraded with Disco 2 units. Every window regulator and motor were changed. I tried finding good condition front seats, but...

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

On a positive note, it came with every owners manual, receipt, VHS tapes, and literature Land Rover would send each year. Lots of cool stuff to sift through, for a nerd like myself. Not to mention, a factory optioned safety devices roof rack, brush and tail light guards. Due to the mold...

Resurrecting A One Owner Disco 1- A LR love story

I planned to hike today, but it’s been pissing down with rain. Also out of books to read, I truly have nothing to do. So I figured making an old school forum post would kill time! I’ve had a lifelong attraction to Land Rovers. During childhood, my family traveled constantly. Which meant if we...
