    Kodiak Truck Bed Tent: Opinions?

Bought a 5er for the wife and sold the ATC, so I'm looking for a tent. Stumbled across the Kodiak Canvas Truck Tent. Any opinions about Kodiak and/or truck tents? Thanks, SB

Four Wheel Camper (Hawk) for a family of 4?

If I already owned a short bed truck, I'd keep it and just let the longer camper sit on the tailgate. If I started with a long bed, I'd seriously consider the keystone. I'm pretty certain my next truck is a long bed. I'm also pretty sure I'm not buying for 6+ years.

Four Wheel Camper (Hawk) for a family of 4?

When sleeping 4, there isn't much storage space for the rest of your gear. The grandby size helps here, I suspect. I'd settle on the truck before buying a new camper, as there are some fit issues between different trucks. They are great campers, no doubt about it!

Four Wheel Camper (Hawk) for a family of 4?

Skip the hawk, get the grandby I find the Hawk size very comfortable for 3, and tight for anymore. I'd look at the Grandby size.

    New Ford PSD pictures

In '07 F250/F350 difference is a few splines on the axle, I think. Everything else is exactly the same below the spring block.

    Mounting a ARB awning question

Awning on mine is factory bolted straight to the camper w/ some sealant.

    Outfitter or Hallmark?

Check the frame material. I think Hallmark is more durable, but I am not sure.

Is Cook Partner the best? Money vs. Quality

My wife's usage of a recent Coleman lead to our purchase of the Partner in '09. My Partner stove is nicely adjustable from very low to very high. No issue with boil or simmer.

Is Cook Partner the best? Money vs. Quality

Yes partner stoves are worth the money. They are durable and easy to clean. The windscreen on mine is a bit fiddly, but works well enough. I do not have grate spacing problems. Again, worth the money.

    ATC/FWC questions

ATC will reinforce the rear wall for a gas can. Since they'll do it, I'm suspect FWC will, too... But I'm thinking you might be better served with a bumper mount? You can sleep in the camper with the top down. The bottom part could indeed be coated. I'm sure ATC would work with you as well...

    pop up camper advise pls

I think you might investigate Hallmark further... I was under the impression -- although possibly wrong -- that although wood framed, they are a composite camper.

    Cassette toilet recommendations

Oops! Forgot about the 970s. I can't remember why i discounted the 970 series... I think it's because they use more water per flush and, therefore, fill the waste tank faster. Or maybe they were like the Thetford in terms of seat size... I don't recall. I have a Dometic (aka SeaLand)...
