    Wheel Center Caps falling off?

They have the circular metal thingy inside the cap. That thing looks like it holds the plastic in place, etc. Is that the U-clip?

    Wheel Center Caps falling off?

2001...in the last year I've lost two of the factory caps off my 16" rims. The other two are very loose. This happened all of a sudden. Is it normal? I need to buy new caps I suppose.

I must be using a table from the Federal Government. That's why the numbers don't add up. LOL!

Now whatsoever. We got $250,000 worth of fun out of this thing. Built up, it took us through a ton of places where many wheelers wouldn't go. Factor in 175,000 of auto use (so far). And now it's easily converted to serve yet another purpose. It was great transportation and a great...

Go to "Suspension Lift Objective" on my main link. This is what I want to go back too. The only real change is the Slee Bumper and therefore I can't use my old 865 springs. I'll get there. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/6022-Shotts-100-series-(Roklimo)-Step-by-Step-5-year-buildup

Really? My new 2001 Cruiser cost $61,000...then the mods totaled $15,000+. $76,000 plus. I can lower my Cruiser for the cost of springs...$150. Of I can buy another 100 and spend $15,000 to bring it up to where mine is now or only 2" lift. Cost to lift 3 vs 2" is minimal. I'll spend $150.

No guys...I want my truck. My truck, but redesigned for my new needs...no more wild wheeling...just light-duty work. And by reworking my 100 I gain all those things I now want back simply by downsizing it.

Would take more cash...but I might have to depending on what spring I run.

Good idea. And I have the correct springs for a 2" lift and stock bumper. LOL!

That's all I'd need to do IF we still planned on wheeling. But we don't. Running the extra lift and 35's costs you power, gas mileage, and more importantly if wears steering racks out like mad and causes extra early CV boot/grease replacement. We're ready for less maintenance and more power.

It's time...my son is done wheeling it. I need to rework this wonderful SUV into what we'll use it for in the future. And what's that? A Luxury Touring SUV with Medium-duty off-road capability. So here's what's up: *The 315-75x16 BFG KM2's have to go. ANYBODY INTERESTED IN BUYING MINE...

Memories. I'm not "foruming" any more. Really don't wheel. Ah this brings me back! It's funny too...as I read about 3 posts here about 35 vs 33's. I plain HAD to have 35's for the things I climbed over and over especially that bottom pic. Now that we don't wheel I plan on going to 33's and...
