    I really dig your Frontier build, and had a random question.

    I don't really know anything about Nissan so I'm curious why they aren't more popular like the Tacoma. I've seen a few really nice and capable Nissan builds, but not even close to the amount of Tacomas.

    Have you had any mechanical issues or any reason you wouldn't recommend a Nissan to build?

    The Frontier was essentially unchanged from 2005-2021. Small updates over that time is all. I've had zero issues, there were some radiator/transmission cooler issues in the early models. There was less aftermarket support than toyota and some people find the interior dated. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

    I'm looking to get into a mid-size truck again, and was curious why there weren't more Frontiers. I get there is less aftermarket support, but I've never heard anything "bad" about the Nissan. I won't rule them out when I'm ready to buy.

    I'm trying to decide between the Tacoma, Frontier, and the new Ranger. Whatever seems right when the time comes will be the winner.
