@ramblinChet what did you end up doing? @taylosha After another year, any ill effects from the 60lb struts? I put a 46lb solar panel on my Grandby. I am also going to put a starlink and 4 maxtrax. I currently have the 30lb factory struts.

People don't seem to keep this rig very long.

Other issues with having fla and lifepo4 connected together are that the lifepo4 voltage once all charged is higher than the fla. So i believe they will fight each other until they balance out, which won't be good. Also can't start from the lifepo4. Way too many amps being sucked out too...

This looks to be the perfect solution for what I am trying to accomplish. Simple, effective and reasonably priced.
