Over head view with camper on

Air Dam I have heard about a "airdam" to block the airfloe under the overhang of the cabover campers. Some I think are hard plastic and others maybe inflatable. The idea is to improve the airfloe around the camper. Does anyone have any experience with these devises?

    Nothern Lite Campers

Can anyone tell us about the Northern Lite campers. They look very much like the Big Foot campers, maybe a little bit lighter. Are they the same quality as the Big Foot?

For all those who sometimes use a paid camp ground/RV park. Has it ever been an issue to unload your camper at your camp site and drive off to go explore the area. Is this generally a non issue or do some places not allow it. Thanks

    Alaskan Camper seals

Thanks for the reply. Yes the Alaskan looks like a quality camper and I really like the hard sides idea. I had just heard some comments about the seals and maybe it was from owners with older models or ones that just needed to be changed. Do you have the cab over model or the other. I am...

    Alaskan Camper seals

I am looking into the Alaskan campers and I was wondering how well do they seal out the cold and bugs. I understand it is a two flap system. Does it work good? Way up North

    Aluminum Flatbed for Dodge Ram?

I think this is the idea I am trying to follow. How long is your flat bed. How is the cab over? I am thinking alng the same way except the camper would be wider on the bottom. Looks good For the Far North This was directed to KIlroy. I am new to the forum so still learning the protocal.

    Aluminum Flatbed for Dodge Ram?

flat bed on a one ton I am playing with the idea of a flat bed (alum) on a one ton 4 by for a camper also. I am thinking about a 10 ft long bed maybe 7 or so feet wide for an Alaskan camper. I hope this is not a major undertaking. As for truck I am leaning to the one ton chassis or a bed...
