I would go with 265/70's. Less of a hit in acceleration, braking, ride, gearing, mpg, etc. The Montero is not a rock crawling rig, but with a mild lift and 32" tires you can go quite far. I have an 04 so I just have 16" wheels. I am running 265/75/16 Cooper ATW. Finished installing OME spring...

Purchased my 2004 with 97k miles, mostly complete records for $6700 last year. I would say yours would fetch between $4-6.5k locally at a private sale.

It came with the stock 16's as pictured. Just planning on the well documented 1.5-2.0" spring lift. Possibly some Old Man Emu medium duty springs. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Just picked up a 2005 Montero LTD. 98k miles, pretty clean. Replaced the vacuum solenoid near the airbox, so no more diff light flashing. Spring time plans are 265/75/16's, some lift springs, sliders, and underbody protection.

Interior pictures coming? That generation of Tracker looks like a 1999+, so it should be a Chevrolet.
