    Tacoma TRD Pro driven

Seriously? Recorded every fuel purchase? You mean more than what is recorded automatically on your bank statement? That really sounds like a lot of work. @ 300 miles per tank that's a lot of data recording. You're devoted.

    Tacoma TRD Pro driven

This thread is really cracking me up right now. What a bunch of speculative hoo-ha. The real question, that the marketing folks have figured out already, is " how does it make you feel sitting behind the wheel ". Who cares about MpGs. You can rationalize that all day long and theorize which is...

Talk me into or out of my first truck.

Don't do it. It's a disease. Especially with the encouragement this lovely forum provides. Step away and never look back.

Strongly suggest taking a look at the Toyo M55 - it comes in a 255/85/16, is E rated (10 Ply), has a three ply sidewall, and has a better tread pattern. http://toyotires.com/tbr/tire/pattern/m-55 Here they are on my 05 Tundra, just put them on on Saturday.

    AAL for 2nd Gen Tacoma?

You may want to read through this thread to be aware of the possible: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/153050-just-fixed-driveline-vibration-free.html And, if you go over about 2" in the front there have been complaints about front differential carrier bearing noise. Suggest...

    AAL for 2nd Gen Tacoma?

The vibration problem is a real one. There are many great threads on how to fix it, and not every truck has it. I had it on my 07' dc sb and chased it down finally by rotating the carrier bearing and adding a drop kit. Then I lifted it another inch and never had any more problems. Check out...

The M55s are amazing. My opinion, one of the most overlooked tires. They're virtually indistructable.

Thanks. Good to be back. The Subaru forester wasn't cutting it. Still have it as a family wagon, but needed a fun project. It's a disease.
