    Open fire cooking setups?

We usually use a tripod I made from some 8mm steel bar with a hanging grill or if we're places where a fire isn't allowed we use the ozpig. We do still have a folding grill but it doesn't get used as much now.

    Scotch Sundays. Bring it.

This is well hard, making me choose! Over here we have a huge choice so I like to vary a bit from time to time, but generally it would be something like below. 1. for everday I'm quite liking Bowmore, specifically their "Mariner" 2. for special occaisions' I'm torn between Craggenmore...

Is the OZ Tent RV-4 worth it???

I'm guessing yours is an RV2? We've got the RV2 and the hinges are in the uprights whereas in the other RVs they are in the top rails so don't move anything like as much. We've had ours around 2 and a bit years now and have had it up in some fairly rough weather (both heavy winds and heavy...

    Coleman Oven

Griff, If getting two of the Coleman ones sent across makes the carriage more sensible I might be interested in one, and I reckon an extra one or two would sell pretty quickly on ebay over here too. Had toyed with trying to make something similar if I didn't happen across a coleman at sensible...

Post pictures of your Land Rover.

my latest - a D90 Bought this a few weeks ago while looking for a 300tdi engine and gearbox to put in my old 110 (and also as the Discovery is suffering with a few problems). It's a 1996 300tdi with 255,000 miles on but only one owner before me and almost full service history. only put 1400...

    KELLY KETTLE...any users here?

I have the smaller 1pt kelly kettle and for me it works quite well. it's small enough to go behind the seats of the defender and will make enough for two cups. As someone else said before, pine cones burn very well in it but they will burn pretty much anything (once managed to boil on nothing...

If they brought the Jimny over to the states, would you pick one up?

We've got them in the UK and they're getting a lot more popular as off roaders now the early ones are so cheap. We have one as the Wife's daily driver - it gets chucked round RTV trials and is standard just on A/T tyresand will shame bigger stuff grip wise just lacks ground clearance

Suzuki Owners; Let's see your ExPo Trucks

This is SWMBO's Daily driver - standard apart from some BFG patter all terrains - have done a few short trips in it round Scotland and Cumbria and it gets chucked round a few RTV trials too. Dunno if we're going to do much more to it as yet (I'm busy rebuilding my D110 and keeping my Disco 1 on...

    Coffee pot

I have one of the black plastic filter holder types and get on well with it -just a bit bulky. Like the look of the ortlieb holder too though. I have a GSI metal and plastic thing (i don't think they make it any more) which sits inside the cup and you put the coffee in, pour water in and let...
