Wow, I just found this thread yesterday, read through the whole thing only to find it for sale. I've wanted to do something simular for years, only out of fiberglass over foam, have several designs solid modeled even, but time is always the ennimy.
I'd love to tell you're smokin crack at that...
Does anyone know how to do this? Am I blind that I can't find the fuse to pull? My kids, 5&7 like to sit on my lap and drive at this off-road area that is wide open and sandy - super low risk stuff. But I'd still like to be able to disable the airbag.
What would make it worth more to me is for it to be a slide in with the same style tent. Also I'd rather have it cab high and flip out the back rather than have it hanging over the cab, anything to help wind drag. The other advantage to me to a slide in shell would be I have a short bed crew cab...

It's not an argument - it's physics and math. Thought that since you posted that link up as to why to go with tall narrow people might want to know why that link has incorrect information. Guess not, so I took down my posts so you don't have to worry about the subject. Just hate people saying...
Fuiee - My boy and I went twice a month from the time he was 1 to when he was 2 and sister showed up. He's always enjoyed it. Of course I also get him and sister out of the truck and into the woods exploring a fair amount to broaden the experience. Mom thought I was BS'ing about him enjoying...
Old enough to have good motor control over their head - about 1 year is good. I know people who've done younger, I just really didn't want heads flopping around and popping off.
