I see a few have mentioned using OME suspension on your first gen trucks. I can't find a listing for their parts anywhere. Does OME still make shocks and springs for first gens ?

I have an opportunity to pick up a 1980 Toyota SR5 4x4 and would want to use it as an all around truck. It's all stock and in great shape. I know they're a bit small compared to most rigs these days, so I was wondering if anyone has used them before for expo/trail/camping use.

Do you have the specs on your FJ80 or is there a build thread ?

Flame suit on........ Don't drink often but, I have always like Coors and the Mexican brews...Pacifico, Corona, Tecate etc.. Have never really tried the darker brews but thats on my list of things to do.

My 91 needs the knuckles re-sealed and i'm getting a click every now and then when turning right. I may need to replace mine when I do the knuckles. Are the Longfields similar quality to the OEM ?

I own many of both and carry both based on the situation. SO the best answer is GET BOTH !! :victory:

Thanks, that's really cool ! I wish someone would make a nice group photo of and FJ40, 55, 60, 62, 80, 100 etc.... Kind of a heritage photo for a nice wallpaper.

It's just a lowly iphone 4 but I would like a nice expo themed wallpaper for it. Maybe something with an 80 series Land Cruiser in it.

These are from back in June at our "do it yourself" week long summer camp for our scout troop, troop 157 in Tucson. We have done this for the last two years because our local scout camp has been closed due to fire restrictions and lack of water. Not that we would have gone there anyway.....lol...
