    JK Vacuum Relocation Kit

I used the metal cloak kit to relocate the pump. It is now up on the drivers fender between the computer and the abs module.

What JK specific tools do you carry?

A good torx socket set, and torx key set are a must have for a JK. Also this is more specific to my suspension system, but I carry a couple big *** adjustable wrenches for the jam nuts on my control arms and track bars.

    Suggestions On Honda CL350

Yea these bikes will do high way speeds just fine but it will be really up there in the rpms and could make the ride uncomfortable for long trips. Plus some of these older honda motors have some some oiling issues when they are run at high rpms for long amounts of time. Short highway blasts...

    Suggestions On Honda CL350

I rebuilt a 75 CB360 a couple of years ago. For a bike that has been sitting a while you should expect to replace any wearable part. So any seal, bushing, bearing, cable, and any rubber part that has degraded. Luckily I did not have to rebuild the engine, but everything else needed attention...

Inflatable pillows, are they any good?

I have been using the sea to summit Aeros premium for a while now. It is the best backpacking pillow I have used, packs up smaller than a beer can. The one way valve system also lets you get the firmness exactly how you want it. They make some larger versions also.

5 tire rotation chart or method

I agree, I have been using this method for a while now. With the BFG MT's on my jeep they are super loud for a few hundred miles after rotation then quiet down after they wear a bit.

    Jeep builds

I looked into all the cool parts RTT, drawers, and fridges, but couldn't justify spending that cash for the 5 to 6 short trips I take per year. I did however find some cheaper options that work well for me. I decided to go with a Tuffy enclosure that keeps items secure and organized. Also went...

    NYC to Quebec city tour

Not to familiar with Quebec city, but I would definitely make your way up through Vermont. Many awesome things to do and see, and some of the best backcountry roads in the northeast.

    Basecamp Fail... Help!

When you have it set to lock to roads, and have your start and end point entered the suggested route should be displayed. You can then drag that route to any road you choose. This creates additional routing points and the turn by turn will adjust accordingly. It will not work if these road/...

    What is your favorite belt?

+1 on the TDU. Has been holding up great for a belt that was less than $20. They also offer a version that is a little stiffer if you are looking to carry a holster or other heavy items.

    JK Tire questions

What transmission are you looking at getting? I have a manual trans with a 2.5 Metalcloak and 35s. My MPG didn't really change much going to 35s, it was 19-17 mpg stock and now is around 18-16 mpg. The ability to choose your own engine speed makes all the difference with mpg. Drive-ability...

I believe the box is about 3.75" high. I am not sure on the exact clearance, but I know it does not hit the underside of the hood.

What is it like to use a Waxed Jacket everyday?

I have been wearing a Levis x Filson jacket for a few years now. Once I managed to get break dust all over one arm, It cleaned up pretty easy with some warm water and a stiff brush. I had to re-wax the whole jacket to keep the color consistent. There is a distinct smell to the wax that my...

JK Tailgate Tables - The lowdown

After weighting the pros and cons of all the available tables, I decided to go with the Springtail Solutions option. With the addition of some modifications it has been a great product. I added a stainless steel sheet to cover all the hardware for the quick fists and provide a level surface...

Sealed box for a BlueSea Fuse block and relays

I decided to build my own setup using a generic waterproof box from McMaster Carr. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/122/894/=10zv231 The engine bay gets a little muddy after hitting the trails, so I wanted to keep everything protected.

Making a JKU fun in the Highway (speed) parts of an Expedition?

You will not be disappointed with the MC / OME combo! My JKU with 35's rides better than stock. Not sure if you are running an auto or manual, but reprogramming the auto with a tuner may help out a bit. I have a manual in my JKU, but changing the shift points on my F150 with 35's made a...
