    SLO flys for flippac

One word of advice, ask them to add no see-um mesh on the vent holes...I sent mine back for them to add to mine. Bugs will get in between the fly and tent through the vent holes, then, since the whole bottom is bungeed they cannot get out that way and will end up finding their way into the tent...

ECS Loadmaster Case - Waterproof Storage

The website says 30 lbs, which I would say feel accurate (sorry, don't have a scale handy). It is defiantly not flimsy by any means, you can stand on it or stack things on it and it holds is shape.

    The 2016 Toyota Tacoma Revealed

Get back to us in 3 yrs with increasing café regulations for "light trucks" and see if the Canyon/Colorado diesel option is still available (could be, but the trucks will have to have a larger footprint to get reduced regulations i.e. be bigger than they are now).

    The 2016 Toyota Tacoma Revealed

A few comments having talked to the chief engineer when I was at the event (These are personal opinions, just to remind you haah): 1. Non box frame: The Toyota engineering team considers this a good thing, not a bad thing (as do I having wheeled my 06 a LOT). The frame is strengthened where it...

20" LED Light Bar, Rigid Vs. Baja Designs.

Baja designs are without a doubt the brightest LED bars on the market....My two 3"x3" squadron pros I have on my Motorcycle blow my 50" Alienware lightbar I have on my truck out of the water. They are MUCH MUCH brighter than my buddies Rigid Dually he has on his bike (and squadrons and duallys...

Boring Hams Talking About The Weather

And how is this is different from plastering your rig in your signature? Just as my name is in my sig for my friends that know me, as is my call sign for my friends that I talk to. Signature (definition of): - A person's name written in a distinctive way as a form of identification in...

Just purchased a baofeng, do I really need a license?

Dude, just get the license, its a privilege not a right, its not hard, a trained monkey could pass the Tech test these days now that there is no Morse code required. if you want to use the service, then pay your dues like everyone else that enjoys the service. Why is that so difficult? I bet...

    Doc's 05 Tacoma Build Thread

Dave, you will find the snorkel also bounces a LOT of light back into the cab (the black plastic is very glossy). As you know, I have blacked out my hood, but as JamesDowning stated, if you are drving behind anyone, the light bar will make the dust kicked up basically a wall that you cannot see...

    New Flip-Pac owner

I have been in some NASTY desert wind storms that broke multiple tents, and I slept like a baby in my flippac. The rocking motion of the truck (wind was enough to shake whole truck) was actually kinda nice. The Biggest advantage of flippac over RTT is breaking down and setting up. RTT are...

SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 3 using External HD and Antenna

I am using the RAM mount right now, I have it mounted where my rear view mirror normally is (with flippac and loaded tire gate, I never used review mirror). The RAM mount does work great, though I have never tried anything else. I keep my tab in an otterbox since I do take it out in the field...

SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 3 using External HD and Antenna

I have a galaxy note 2 7" tab that I run as my primary GPS in my rig. I use copilot for turn to turn navigation on streets and backcountry for topos and offroad nav (both require no data). The main perk that sold me on the galaxy note was the fact that it has an SD card slot, so I can throw a 64...

    Woodman's Pal Question

I use one all the time. cant say for 2 1/2 bamboo, but everything from splitting wood while camping, to falling trees (larger than 2.5 inch, though takes multiple swings). I would think it would cut through a 2.5" bamboo in one swing. They are great tools.
