"Yours can't be using 65w because that is the per hour rating, 65w divide 60 minutes = 1.08333333333 watts per minute, If it runs for 14m 18 seconds, that's a total of 15.491666666watts per hour ….." In no way, shape, or form is a Watt an AMOUNT of energy. It is an instantaneous RATE of...

FWC; major design changes, issues, and value?

I started my path to FWC ownership as an old guy worn down by nearly 30 years of motorcycle/dome tent camping. I wasn't comparing the FWC to full blown RV's. The internet search for a good pop-up turned toward FWC when I clicked their dealership link. Their 15 dealers were 14 more than...

    Truck/Camper Combo Payload Question

To fine tune it a little, the factory curb weight includes a tailgate and the 880 lb weight of my FWC Hawk shell included four 25 lb corner jacks, all of which were removed. Weigh master was impressed that it was 760 below gross, which is not what he usually sees when he weighs a 1500 series.

    Window or wall air conditioner?

I'm investigating the portable units. Venting a 4" tube to the outside doesn't look like a major engineering project. http://www.homedepot.com/b/Heating-Venting-Cooling-Air-Conditioners-Coolers-Air-Conditioners-Portable-Air-Conditioners/N-5yc1vZc4m4?Ns=P_REP_PRC_MODE%7C0

    4 wheel camper Hawk flatbed

If that truck used to be red, then I believe I saw mile zero of your trip in West Chester. Nice build..... you did a lot of things right.... Your flatbed has a lot more floor in the floor plan than my conventional slide in has between the wheel wells .
