I retained and refurbed everything, lucky enough on that one.
I think all of the components with the exception of the brake levers are available. Someone on Steel Soldiers has identified a source for the levers.
Did not do a good job with updates and progress but we can fast forward a bit here.... 😁
Still need to add solar panel and some other minor things but the trailer is fully functional and actually works great!
Finally remembered to take pics of the corner steadies - with the extension on the legs I think I can just lift a tire off the ground (with no additional blocks)
Progress on the trailer is slow, life is fast at the moment....
I did make brake light boxes and finished the corner steady mounts. Neglected pictures, will fix that soon.
I used the Ark drop down units for my current build

I used the BAL-C jacks on the smaller trailer, you can see them here -

That is nice. Do you see how they describe the floor (if it has one)?
My Joolca arrives today, excited about that but the rack mount of the Tuff Stuff unit has its appeal....
Some progress -
It is towable now - with the Lock-n-Roll
Lift posts started - I am going with linear actuators instead of internal gas struts
Ark Corner steadies mounted - extended legs 5"
CK5 Brother!! ?
So you used the plates on the t-case cross member to protect the frame and correct for a bend....?
I just went through the same thing except I have the 4l80 - everything cleared on mine with the closest area being the ORD front cross member. I was able to bolt the t-case cross...
The one on the right qualifies :p
I had prepped the bikes for fire evacuation a few weeks back. We were under evac warning so the family took all the cars loaded with stuff. Our side of the community was safe.
I received the Ark Corner Steadies - VERY nice components! However they will be a few inches short of touching the ground when mounted to the tub. The extendable portion of the leg (and overall toughness of the unit) will allow me to add a 4 or 5" extension with no problems and still be 100%...
Do you go offroad much? If so, do you air-down? You could miss the sidewall flex (better traction) of the 15x33 offroad but it will handle better on road. I still miss my 15" wheels - and grinding calipers for clearance was required. Please note I am not suggesting you do that without research.
So the weekend was all about levelers on the rear of the trailer. The tall BAL c jack I have on the small trailer fit great. I would buy more of those but it looks like BAL is out of business or waaay behind in inventory or supply chain. Does anybody know?
ARK Corner Steadies look good but I am...

Thanks for the comments!
The M101a series trailers are all steel. I think the a3 version is near 1500lb unloaded. I have a fullsize truck (7200lb empty) heavily modified including an 8.1l engine to drag this around with. I do plan on scrapping the surge brake controller and stock...
