I remember seeing a build on here where a guy built a raising roof for his GMT800 suburban. I tried searching but I didn’t see it. Anyone remember this?

There is nothing wrong with it at all. It performs exactly as every other 4L60e I have experience with(5 to exact). I just hate it most of the time. Im running 265/65r18 tires and 3.73 gears. It wont stay locked up when I push the gas more than an 1/8th. I just dont like it at all. Ive...

Id love to have a GMT-800 Tahoe/Burb with a manual..I cant even begin to express how much I hate the 4l60e. The engine just always feels like its struggling and wasting energy. Sorry got nothing to add, just commenting.

Looks a lot like a tundra to me from certain angles. Maybe when new vehicles dont cost as much as a rental property that creates income I'll buy another one. Until then Ill keep on driving old uncool stuff thats paid for.

I followed you and born for adventure on IG. I just completely forgot about my suburban. I love this build. To bad the cucv ambulance didn't come crew cab. Sorry to read about your dog. If I were closer I'd foster him until you can take him back.

Take it from a guy who has owned both....Go for the Suburban. Tahoe was my all time favorite vehicle until I owned a suburban...

Colorado, I'd seriously pay for one of those bumpers but with a spare tire carrier with a swing out to the driver side. If you're interested shoot me a pm.

This may sound weird. I have seen guys mod the ARB series 100 Land cruiser bumpers to fit an GMT 800 tahoe/suburban. Would this be something you'd be interneted in doing? Asking for a friend.
