    Trek 920

Love my 920. I swapped out the drop bar for a flat. Made a huge difference managing a loaded front rack while riding occasional singletrack.

I'll try and get some more pics and details on soon.

The why and how for an adventure trailer. "Chuck" is Done!

Chuck weighted a little more than I hoped, still 2100lbs isn't too bad for all the storage.

The why and how for an adventure trailer. "Chuck" is Done!

I know there will be changes along the way but I finally got the trailer done 2 weeks ahead of schedule. It'll be affectionally be named Chuck. Partly due to it's husky weight and partly due to my mother calling it a chuckwagon during construction.

    Old Lock'n'roll hitch

Nothing better than pulling in for a while to break it lose. Try hitting it with some lithium grease before you go.

Wish I could have, never seen a trailer in person before starting this build. Would have liked going to Expo East but couldn't get off work.

The why and how for an adventure trailer. "Chuck" is Done!

I may have to. Right now I'm using a 6" rise receiver hitch. It's a little high so the trailer sits up some, also can't drop my bed gate. I'm hoping to have money left for a lock and roll hitch, 4" rise. I'm waiting to get everything installed before deciding. The suspension has given some...

Key is finding a fabricator who's willing to work with you for a decent price. Otherwise may be better to buy. I got lucky. Been hard not to cut corners on quality and being patient to finish. Deadline is July 4th, off for our trip out west to Glacier NP. Almost done. Still have to wire...

Also had a chance to play with the tent and annex. Annex is a little long but still works, doubt I'll use it much but it's a nice addition.

The why and how for an adventure trailer. "Chuck" is Done!

Got most of the cabinets and drawers made, still need to stain and install the faces. I used Accuride heavy pull slides, only $11 each. They have great feel, I don't believe they'll open during transport.

    NOCO charger with monitor

Does this make more sense? The switch/fuse will run between the positive battery and positive of the fuse box. The victron positive from shunt will connect directly to the battery, not the switch/fuse.

    NOCO charger with monitor

I may have misunderstood what you meant unshielded twisted pair, you mean the two screw connections on the side? There's no mention of these in the manual. There is only a connection for B1, only one battery. Shunt pic

    NOCO charger with monitor

Victron bmv-700. Only one battery, i believe the plug is shielded but is a twisted insert. The NOCO charger is designed to attach directly to the battery. By placing the negative end of the NOCO on the victron shunt it will allow me to view charging stauts on the monitor. I don't know if...
