    Kingdom Camping Caravan MX16 build

Nice! We're getting to a point where we could have a Kingdom Camping owners' group or a even a rally.🙂 I think I forgot to mention to you before: If you can, see if you can swap a Nomadic 12v AC for the Dometic RTX 2000 12v. The Nomadic costs a little more, but it's a better product. We had a...

Trail Marker Up and Out with Wet Bath by Rollingstar MFGing

Any spot with dog swimming is a winner. Is that area the usual 14 day BLM boondocking availability? It looks like it might be a lightly visited area.

    Kingdom Campers?

We'll be watching this mid-sized trailer develop. If/when we ever build a house again and stop living in the trailer fulltime, we'll look at something lightweight for "vacation" living like normal people.

    Kingdom Campers?

A good general ratio is two watts of solar panel power to manage every one amp hour of battery capacity. Sometimes the Joshua trees try to hem you in!

    Kingdom Campers?

We're camped out near Huntington, UT now. Last night it got down to 20 degrees. When we went to bed, it was 60 degrees inside the trailer. When we woke up it was 48 degrees inside. We turned on the heat for 15 minutes this morning to get it back up to 60 degrees (we like it cooler, especially...

    Truck vs SUV for towing

The goal is to tow with the smallest vehicle you can safely get away with based on your trailer size and payload needs. We're in a bigger trailer than yours and boondock 100% of the time, so we not only need the extra towing capacity, but also need the extra payload of a truck. Dog food, water...

    Imperial Outdoors Xplore XR22

There is a post up on that FB page about how the cabinets are pulling away from the walls. There are photos of all the places you can sink additional screws to help out, but still don't carry anything "heavy" in them when traveling.

    Kimberley Kampers USA

Just remember, there's much more to being off road capable than just clearance. We see a lot of trailers with flipped springs and other adjustments that give them plenty of clearance. How well a trailer can articulate over obstacles and handle extended wash board roads is more important. An off...

They are a good alternative to Airstream, but the suspensions aren't great. They use the MorRyde 3000. Not a great option for off road. Their frames are solid though.

It really depends on how you intend to camp. Airstream would be fine if you'll be staying in campgrounds for the most part. You pay a premium for their brand, but they've never been known for superior performance when it comes to suspension, solar panel capability, electrical system (typically...

    Our Kingdom Camping Trailer Build

We've been living in it fulltime since last April, and it's been great. It's the prototype, so there were a lot of little issues that we've modified and passed on to Jamin. He's addressing them all in future builds. On the most important performance items (chassis, suspension, solar, cold/hot...

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Any recommendation on where you would have a wrap done or what specific skills to ask about (other than just customer reviews)?

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

I wonder how much it would cost to get the larger Pause trailers re-done every three to four years.

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

When it comes time to re-wrap it, I'll be curious to hear how difficult it is and where you get it done.

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Any idea how long a wrap lasts before it starts to peel or fade and needs to be replaced? What is the maintenance program if any? (wash and wax annually?). I've always wondered how the whole wrap concept works and if it is more durable than decals. A wrap does look good when new.

    Any experience with Ember trailers?

As long as you never take them off pavement and only use them a few times a year, they should be fine. :)

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Here you go. It's mostly to let friends and family know where we are and what we're doing so if we disappear while boondocking they can rescue our dogs.🙂 The most recent posts were all about the building of our prototype trailer from Kingdom Camping. RVino Blog

    Pebble trailer

Looks like they're after the hipster doofus market that wants something unique but less expensive than an Airstream.

That's just another word for experience.🙂
