    Leaf Springs

The shorter the leaf you remove the greater effect it will have on the ride, lift, and weight handling. If you feel that it is pretty close, start with the longest one. On my trailer I use a set of modified 2nd gen Tacoma springs, took some tuning to get them stiff enough but the end result is...

    The Downside of Titan Swaps

Or run a rear swaybar like me:) Also most would agree that after swapping the truck has more body roll but feels more stable. Hard to explain...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

^ I have Bilstein 5125's from Greg, when new they were great. Sadly now with about 60k on them the ride is pretty bouncy:( They will hopefully be replaced by Bilstein 5165's assuming things work out with Bilstein. MDs will suite about 95% of people, the HDs are for the other 5% that really need...

You'll like the OME packs, they are nice. Well if either of you guys feel like the MD isn't enough, I'll make you a good deal on the extra leaf you need to make your pack HD. I pulled it out of my pack a while ago and I don't think it will be going back in.

Does an adventure trailer like this exist?

If your pretty handy I could see a cargo trailer conversion working out well for this. Build the rear doors into a galley kitchen, beds inside, shower towards the front. A 6x10 would probably be just about right to fit all your requirements besides being very close to your max weight. The same...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

I'd go with the Nisstec coilover over the OME. A buddy of mine got the comparable ToyTec (Nisstec's big brother company) coilover on his Tundra and they blew me away. Way outperformed my TJM coilovers. The ride was excellent as well. I'm also fairly certain that the 5100 series Bilstein can be...

Thinking of a 2012 Frontier. Thoughts

Basically Frontiers 2010 and newer have nearly all the issues worked out. 2005-2007 had a good amount of issues, many of them were resolved by 2009. 2010 is really when everything got handled. A 2012 should be problem free, aside from any previous neglect the only issue you may encounter is...

    Glamisdude's Do it all Frontier

Why Hello Grendel! The wood weight did have a small impact (namely truck duty space) but is only about 75-100lbs. On stock leafs it sucked with the shell, rack, and platform the weight was quite a bit and my leafs were shaped like a W. Not good, but with the Dakars everything is fine and dandy:)...

    WreckDiver1321's 2003 Frontier CC SC

Well if you driving mostly highway your mileage will be better than mine. On long trips that are mainly highway I'll get between 16-17 mpg. But real world mileage for me is what I posted before. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

I don't know if you'd be doing that well on mileage... Im auto, 265s, 2.5" of lift, roof rack, yada yada. I daily drive mine pretty much 50/50 city/highway doing about 70 on the highway and I get between 13.5-14.4 consistently, getting about 270-290 miles per tank.

    Glamisdude's Do it all Frontier

Sorry for the late reply, but currently its a CRF250r but will soon be a KTM 300 xcw. It sticks out about 3-4 inches per side. I like it but I'd still prefer the bike in the bed Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
