Considering a TC and already have a 50Q ARB. Should I still get a built in Refring unit or just stick with the ARB? Aside from space my main concern is power usage – which would use more? Close or does one use much more power than the other?
Think you are correct but when loading in the back of the truck not much real room savings. At least for me because if using it the top needs to remain easily accessible. We have tossed light stuff like sleeping bags on too but still......
HaHa. All good. It was just funny and strange as I'm not here much and randomly clicked this thread. I was looking at it thinking....hmmm....well, that does look familiar :sombrero:
Honestly I've been hesitate to post my experience because I didn't want only negative impressions out there. The good news is that the trailers are really well built and awesome design and customer service is an easy problem to fix if the vendor has the desire.
Instead of starting my own thread I'll post here as this seems to be the best place for info on the trailers. I have the newer Blast version and can back up Jon's comments / impressions as accurate and very fair. The trailers are built like tanks and are a very cleaver design. No doubt. Product...
First shoot your spotter, then shoot the person taking the video :)
Seriously, nice to see more families out off road. My 7 year old girl sits in the same position and also loves it!
Not sure why having more money than sense is now a bad thing? :)
Seriously, I've seen the truck in person and could not find much not to like. But the question at hand is what happened to his build thread?
2nd Battery is a no brainer. I would also invest it the best I could afford. Cheap insurance that will be worth 10X when you really need it.
Of course that does not mean that you should not also consider solar and a genny down the road.
It was my first time and I really enjoyed myself. But got to say that they need way better signs on where all the classes are located. I have a nicely modified 4Runner but flew out instead of driving from PA. I found a local dealer to rent me a stock 4Runner which I used to take some of the...
Anybody using anything to protect the trailer when not attached to the truck? I'm thinking if I wanted to leave it parked some place while out exploring for the day. Mine will have normal tires 285/70/17 and a special 360 degree hitch so a hitch lock type of thing would not work.
Maybe...
Looking forward to it. Thanks again for this great thread which really helped me. I drove a few hours to see another one in person before ordering which finally sold me. What I still don't know it how to set up the side rooms but hopefully it won't be too difficult.
I had hoped to spend some...
