Hi Jonathan, because a trailer axle has no power going through it geometry doesn't have to be spot on. I went with 800mm arms so they wouldn't be running on a large angle keeping the wheel in a more up and down motion, not back and forth. All my arms are the same length and once I worked out...

I think a hard lid is the way to go, it gives you that added security being able to lock it. I use my trailer for work and being able to lock up tools is an added bonus. cheers MC

I got new switches as well, so they would light up the writing when I turn the lights on and the icon when I turn the switch on. Couldn't see the standard switches as night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It's not finished yet, the floor has to go in, aluminium tread plate on the corner guards, twin fuel cans on the rear corners and I am working on a hard lid at the moment. A spare tyre will be mounted between the nose box and the trailer body and a windcheeter rack will be mounted to the lid...

This is my first attempt at building a trailer, thanks to this site for all the ideas. It's a 7x4 running a triangulated suspension using airbags and rancho shocks. 37 Procomp Muddies on AEV beadlocks.

The rack is adjustable up and down and forward and back. The base of mine sits about an inch above the top of the back seat on the middle setting of the rack. I hope that helps. Cheers Mark.

Try some 3m or Wurth double sided tape. I used some of the wurth tape the other day and we tried to pull it apart an couldn't. I don't know wether you have wurth products in the US but I will get you the part number and the name tomorrow when I get to work. Cheers MC
