Nice looking 4Runner. Let me know when you get new wheels and tires. I need a set of these to put on the trailer I'm going to build so the rims on my 4Runner and trailer will match.

I've got the same upper control arms and had the tech push the tires forward. Take the instructions with you so they know the proper way to move everything. Even if you push them forward, you may still have to clearance for when you're wheeling. It's easy enough and you shouldn't have to do...

I'm running 285/75/17, basically 34x11.50, Toyo MT's on my 4runner with stock 4.30 gears. These are heave at about 70lbs each. I get 14-16 mixed and can get 18 on highway alone. I think you're geared too deep for your tires. I switched from 265/70 to 265/75 and didn't notice any difference...

That sucks about the increased ferry price. Trailer was just starting to really take shape too.

I think you're right. I have seen some guys put the LATCH type tie down in the back of the 3rd gen, probably stronger than stock if done right anyway. I can appreciate your eye for safety and wanting to keep your kids safe, that's a very important thing.

I'd trade you my 99 4Runner, but doesn't sound like you'd be interested.

Love this truck. Amazing build. I do have a question though. How do you like the Method beadlocks? Have they given you any problems with balancing, or not being DOT legal?
