I've used a Hi-lift several times to winch. Get the kit and a chain and it will get you out of about everything. Winches have been known to fail, the Hi-Lift is a good back up.

A snorkel won't make your truck throw codes. It is possible that you have a leak in your intake system somewhere after the maf. Try spraying carb cleaner around the throttle body and intake, if the motor revs, you found your leak. It's also possible your maf is bad but instead of throwing parts...

Black pipe computer mounts are akin to poop pipe snorkels, it might work but it's likely to be hideous. With so many of the companies selling components it would be better to pry open your wallet, shop around and build something nice.

I've been running a RAM mount in my truck going on 4 years with no probems. I'm using a tablet pc so the weight is a bit less than a laptop so I'm sure that helps. I don't have an actual picture of the mount unfortunately.

I always hear this "2 to 3k a year" stuff and I don't get it. I have 2 D2's and they don't require anywhere near that amount of maintenance. Do you people just buy junk or something? Even doing head gaskets will cost you way short of a grand if you do it yourself.

There are no bulbs in the D2 dash, the fault indicators are all led's. The amount of douchebaggery that would go into disabling those was probably more work then fixing the problems. If the dash binnacle is loose, it's probably been pulled to implement this douchebaggery.

They never have 4.6 engines in stock. I've looked too. I've also seen them trying to sell 4.0 cranks as 4.6 on ebay. I don't trust them one little bit. There are much more reputable vendors to recommend.
