07 Locking differential question

So I was driving a powerline road a few days ago in my 07 Prerunner, and felt the need to engage the factory e-locker before taking it up a steep, muddy hill. It rained a few days earlier, and with the Prerunner, I am always concerned about spinning the wheels/trail damage. [I wasn't really on a trail, but good habits, right?] My question is: is there a speed at which the locking differential disengages? The little warning sticker on the door gives a max speed of 5mph, but my max speed was about 12mph and I didn't feel it disengage. Anybody know? Can I go as fast as I want with the diff locked, as long as I engage it while stopped?

You can go as fast as you want. (you shouldn't though. Keep it to a slower speed). It won't disengage until you press that button.
