Also, something I hadn't thought about. Im sure this is a stupid question. My 300tdi included a transmission and transfer case that were out of a 1996 Discovey Tdi from the UK. Is there anything different between the transfer case I need and a normal v8 transfer case? I have a rear shaft and not a rotoflex shaft.

You're good. Nothing different between a disco and later defender lt230's except the flanges on some discos-like Timmy's.
I need to work out transport to my container with Dave and make sure he's not going to hit you guys with VAT. If that all goes well, I'll just have you guys pay him directy.

Payment will be made directly to Ashcrofts. I just want to make sure he's including shipping these to the container adress I gave him in his prices. Don't want to do everyone a favor and get a huge delivery bill after the fact.

Please call or email Ashcrofts and make your purchases directly. I have asked Dave to hold delivery of everyones purchase until we have the container date nailed down but it should be late next week. Shipping over will run apprx. $50 to Baltimore. I need each individuals receipt for customs entry-no exceptions.

What sort of time frame does it take for a ship to get over to the US?

When I ordered my Tdi, it took 3 weeks at sea, but it went to Los Angeles. I'm betting a week going to Baltimore.

Timmy, did you hear back from Ashcroft? I sent him my info, and he said he would contact me before charging my card just to confirm. Haven't heard back from him yet.
