I'm putting on an OME 2.5" lift onto an '03 Toyota Tacoma Dbl Cab. Adding an ARB Bullbar, Blacking out the wheels, Tundra Wheels, 285/75R16 BFG ATs on for a customer this week! She's excited, I may be just as excited to see this come together!

Here's todays progress, arrived from picking up the truck in Pittsburgh at noon 45 minutes later, we had a 285/75R16 on to test the fit.

Removed the front mudflaps and may need to reshape some plastic inner fender for now or at full stuff.

Next we picked up the wheels and tires, 16" Tundra wheels and BFG AT's. The wheels look almost the same, except with a Sombrero delete and the good ol' fashioned Toyota text.
Installed them.

Next: Black out wheels
Sandblast undercarriage, #$%^ Pennsylvania winters
Undercoat
OME lift and ARB arrives from Cruiser Outfitters friday, I hope
Install and send her on her way to Uhaul so she can move from MPLS to Little Rock, AR

Stay tuned and feel free to offer tips or suggestions. Sadly no time for an Expedition Ops Taco Bumper

I have more images and another write up at Expedition Ops and at the facebook page.

Which springs are you using? On 4runners you'd have to hammer the heck out of the pinch welds in the inner fender area on the front end (foot well area) in order to fit anything larger than 285's, with that little of lift. I know OME maybe claiming 2.5 inches but after running that ARB bar for a little while it may end up being 2 inches., I know Taco's are a little different but not too much. You might expect to have to do that to avoid rubbing at full stuff.

looking good, so someone dropped it off and asked you to do all of those things?

They did. She is driving it daily so it will be coming in on a couple evenings and for the weekend.

So far, we have nomrubbing on the pinch welds, we similated stuffing the front at stock height, with no rubbing of metal just plastic. Once we throw the lift on we should be clear. Well run, 881's plus a 5pm spring spacer, per our discussion with Kurt.

Thanks to Toyota of America, the Tacoma got a fresh undercoating on the frame... Which meant I was covered head to tow in black tar... Other than that, the build went well, check it out!

The OME/Dakar suspension went in well. The old leafs didn't come out without a fight! Fortunately, A Toyota dealer in town had the parts I was cutting out. Lots of rust repair in this job, and while the paint was out, we killed almost everything shiny on this truck. I'm pretty happy with it!

Its late, this has been a long weekend and I'm going to bed, more pics at facebook and a write up on my blog. Enjoy! Thanks for all the help, search function!

, that looks great!

Thanks to you, it does! You were tons of help on this.
She is ecstatic and now packing the truck and a trailer for the move. No need to worry about a stiff ride after dragging a uhaul trailer to and through AR, I've driven washboards that are smoother.
The truck left my shop last night after paint cured a bit longer, I was sad to see it go. Time to start keeping my eyes peeled for a nice Dbl Cab.

Nice simple clean DC! LOVE that model! I was heavy on the market when a wild hair snatched me a Tundra instead
