10 gallon propane tank prices?

When I went looking for a 5 lb tank, Camping World had them, at twice the price of Home Depot. Didn't think Home Depot would have anything but the stock 20 lb versions, but they had 5, 10, and 30 as well as the 20's.

For $100, you could get one of the 10 or 20 lb new sexy see-through lighter-weight tanks, if you value low weight in your vehicle more than in your wallet. (Ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/PATTSGAS-PRODUCTS)

The site you linked to for the aluminum tanks also had data for the steel ones. The plastic see-through I found is 9.6 pounds, aluminum is 9.4, steel is 15 pounds. All empty. 10 pounds of propane to fill each of them is 10 pounds. :ylsmoke:

Hey thanks for that, I guess I didn't look close enough. Well for the prices I'm seeing under 6 lbs of weight savings isn't worth over 60-70 dollars difference in the price of the tanks. Thanks guys.
