100 series transmission question

2004 w/5 speed.
I went to do the pan only fluid swap, drained 2.75 qts out. Went to install new and realized I don’t have a dipstick…I know I should have researched this first.😆. Well I didn’t have the 24mm socket or transfer pump needed to fill it back. I was looking right above the pan and removed a small 12 mm bolt- I was able to use the pump and hose I had to add the fluid back, my question is I assume that’s OK? Any transmission experts?

That's fine, if you measure carefully what came out and replace with the same amount. There is a lengthy temperature based process for checking the level (at that hole) to make sure it's at the correct level....so if you measure and replace accurately, you can know that it's exactly where it was. Overfilling is not good.
