Has anyone ever seen these before?

I was looking at the featured 100's over on MUD and saw the guy from South Africa's rig, well eventually somehow I found a cruiser club in SA and someone had made these up. Look really neat, although slider mounting could get interesting.

Wanted to see what you guys thought as I am considerign a 100 and want to know whats really out there for them, b/c MUD is lacking @ times in the 100 section. (Or at least its not as busy with cool ideas and builds as I am used to in the 60 or 40 sections.)

Looks like that's a 105. The issue you'll have with the 100 is the t-bars take up the space the water tank in the pic occupies.

Seen them for the 80 series.. .but you cant run sliders with them so we didn't go that route. Not to mention freight would be expensive since no one here sells them.

All said though, there are voluminous places underneath a cruiser both 80 & 100 where a tank could be fitted, it's a goot idea starter.

TJM also makes plastic food grade ones that hold 20L each side. Long Ranger makes a 122 L aux fuel tank/55L water tank for the rear where the spare tire goes. This would be my choice. Stainless steel sliders/water tanks... that could be slick!

As another option (most like if you're near a coast), there are marine fabricators that routinely build aluminum fuel tanks for boats. I'd think something like that would be pretty straight forward for them.

I didnt know the 100 was diff than the 105 in that area. I thought it was cool to find a cruiser club in SA. Really cool what you can find/get to via the internet.

I have heard about the longranger tanks, but have also heard that shipping them or getting them to ship is a bear.

I think the marine tanks are a great idea as well, wonder how much they would charge for something like that.

The 105 is very similar to the 80 series. The IFS 100 series has wider frame rails so less room for such a water tank. You can order the Long Ranger tanks directly from the company or that is what they told me the last time I talked to them. Cost is high and getting higher as the dollar gets weaker. Also be aware, the aux/water tank does not fit '03+ US market 100's because of a relocated charcoal canister.

Something else I noticed, the tanks mount on the 105 where our 80s have the cat converters, I think. Unless they are interchangable side to side.

I really like the idea of an underbody water tank, but I don't like the outlet being under the rig, where it will get all muddy, dusty or dirty. I guess a pump could easily fix that.

There was a pump that is used in some of the info I saw. I thought it was cool b/c it kept your weight low down.
