sounds like a good plan, i take it you are planning on using the 78-9 ford dana 60 then? or are you doing custom spring hangers?

have not gotten that far! if i do get a ZF6, then ill go ford 60 and and spring perches. otherwise, i may look into a ZF5 and get an ORD doubler behind it with a dodge/chevy 205 and chevy 60. really depends on the best deal i find!

plan to use the TNDiesel motor mounts, make my own crossmember, box the frame. the upper shock mounts will be an over engine cage tie in to further strengthen the whole setup. Custom alcan or national 52" leafs. full crossover/high steer. 2.5" Fox shocks.

Now is the time to save up, barter and acquire deals on components. also, in the meantime, im going to scoure the internet to learn all i can about the 6bt!

The engine may VERY well be out of a truck, BUT, that doesnt mean squat when it comes to the pump.... It CAME from a tech school. SO, not for nothing, I would VERIFY, and BE SURE the PUMP, is from an auto application... if so, find out what was done to it(by a pump shop), as, you shouldnt open one of those up...

Eh, I wont say its hard or easy. I will say, an injection pump... that is one of the VERY few things I have a Bosch shop do. I dont have the equipment.... though, I have an inline pump.. not a rotary pump... Just sayin...
