Hi Justin,

doesn't find any picture at your web site with a Sankey connected to your 130.

Mightbe you towe a WT Mk III?

Hi no its a Sankey, your 130 looks very nice, and a fine job you have done on it.

Just as like as I mentioned:

Sankey, wide track, Mark III. :victory:

Main differences to the Mk II is the lower positioned overrun unit right between the draught bar instead of on top on it!

I want one too! :wings:

But it's impossible to get it legal ready for the roade in Germany! :Wow1:
No paperwork for the disk brakes --> no admission by the DOT!

I'm not amused about that. But can't help it.

Btw, the tub of the 110 HCPU matches perfect on top of the WT frame!
The tub of the 130 CC is a little bit too short for a real good balance. But it might be extended in front of it.
I did it last year. Please have a look: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/92979-Sankey-Tent-Trailer?p=1291190#post1291190

Kurt,
How are you supporting attaching the slider @ the rear of the cab ? I wimped out and bought the terrafirma ones when they first came out back in 2010 and now have a second 130 and was thinking of making something different for that truck. The terrafirma's simply bolt to the ends of the body outriggers.

Same procedure here:

I just added some 3/4" material to the U steel. That's it.

Why?

And be prepared of different distances between the left and right side.
It's British, not Made in Germany! :coffee:

No, the difference is quite ok.
I took the measures of the melded sliders.

So this are fingerprints of my 130.

And not imperial. It's metrix!

Yes and nothing about my commercially made sliders looks as strong as yours. That said, I have steered into a large tree and pivoted the entire 130 on the tree on a super tight trail on those sliders so yours of course will be ready for the apocalypse. Kurt you continue to be an inspiration, I don't think it has anything to be with you being German, I think your work just rocks ! Those welds look awesome. Mig ?

First view to the tree slider doesn't look pretty cool.

5" is way too wide.

Reduced it by 3/4".

I think they look great! They stick out far enough to work, but not far enough to be int he way. Plus you can use them as a step to reach the roof.

On my 130 sliders the tree slider part is round tubing and isn't spaced out quite as far as yours. The combination makes the outer tube totally unusable as a step. Yours on the other hand look like they would be a great step and platform to stand on to access things on the roof.

I think you should come here in 2019 when you retire and build Defender accessories
